I don't think it was about sparing his feelings. Your wife might have known the shit storm that would ensue if she had told him the truth and was shielding you, your family and herself from him and his craziness.

Angry/Pouty Father In Law
by TOTH inseveral months ago my father in law abused his key priveleges for the final time.
he barged in after my son and i had left and harassed my darling wife/his daughter and tried to bully her into giving him her pain medication.
when i heard about the situation after he had left we decided that the locks needed to be changed.

I still have mine in my wallet behind my license, but I have "altered" it.
I keep it there so my Mom and Sister won't go ape shit because I don't have it.
I'm a born-in and have NEVER made copies or given anything to my doctor because I've felt that it was a ludicrous stance and refused to be ruled by it. I figured that, unless it was a planned surgery (I'd have made a conscious decision), in the event of an emergency if the medical staff/emt/doctors weren't informed, they'd just try and save my life by any means necessary before my family or any other witlesses could get involved and stop them.
I am now trying to draft something that I can give my doctor to allow them to give me blood, secretly; in other words give me blood but don’t let them see you do it or find out about it. I want to make my wishes known in my medical records because I do want my parents to have DPA but not when it comes to decisions concerning blood. I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to do this, but I will discuss it with my doctor and an attorney so it will be ironclad, effective and hopefully completely confidential.

Just wanted to say hello
by Suraj Khan ini've only very recently discovered this site and have been reading many compelling personal accounts and testimonials.
i'd like to share my own as well.. i was born into 'the truth' in the early 1970s.
along with my several (fleshly) brothers and sisters, i went through the usual travails of a witness boy - not celebrating birthdays, not pledging allegiance to the flag, not singing christmas carols in the class chorus.

District Convention 2012
by apocalypse inhave anyone of you out there been so bold as to voice a concern, and voice it so well that it got back to the circuit overseer, then the do, then back to the branch and end up becoming something that had to be mentioned at the district convention?.
in summary of the watchtower at the dc, i recorded elder g. saying "the clear direction that that would be both when we have to agree with their direction and even if we do not fully agree" in relation to 'fully supporting jehovah's arrangement of things'.. of course he was speaking out both sides of his mouth.
how can one agree without agreeing?

The answer is no.
The elderberries are told to cut you off at the knees, even if it goes over their heads.
If the CO gets involved be certain that it won't go any farther because this whipping boy will make sure he or the elderberries will kill the issue or DF you, whichever comes first or possibly both.

Got to Make an Elder Squirm the Other Day
by xelder ini heard from a very reliable first hand source that an elder in a nearby congregation was talking about my views of the organization.
so, i called him.................................................................................................. me: hello m. this is xelder, i heard that you had a conversation with h. the other day.
any idea why i might be calling you concerned about what was said?.

Um it's the wash-towel, there is no explaining anything, duh; you're just supposed to believe it or else.
Sheesh, even a five year old gets the old "because I said so" explanation.

Will another "Steven Unthank" eventually charge the WBT$ with racketeering under the RICO act?
by Fernando injudge rutherfraud:.
"if the claims or pretenses made by the catholic organization are false, then it must be conceded that the people are being imposed upon to their injury and that those who are responsible for such pretenses or false claims are therefore racketeers.".
(from the 1937 jr wbt$ book "enemies" on pages 156/7.

What to do with our money (estate) when we die?
by life is to short inmy husband just gave me the km for june.
i thought the question box was interesting.
it asks the question "what should be kept in mind if we want some or all of our assets to go to jehovah's organization upon our death?".

I love too that they never say anything like "contact an attorney to help you with your decisions and to make sure your papers are in order".
They don’t want things to be in order, this way they can legally fight for more of your estate after your dead.
So nope, no real help; just more, give us your money and don't trust outsiders, bullshit.
Such arrogant assholes!
